How to create a system image backup of Windows 10

Follow these simple steps to create a system image backup of your PC, so in the event your computer fails you can use this to restore everything from the full Win 10 installation, settings, files, apps or even any additional drives you have connected.

  1. Open Control Panel.
  2. Click on System and Security.
  3. Click on Backup and Restore (Windows 7).
  4. On the left pane, click the Create a system image link.
  5. Under “Where do you want to save the backup?” select the On a hard disk option. Using the “On a hard disk” drop-down menu, select the storage to save the backup.
  6. Click next, then the Start backup button.

Block Notifications

Windows PC never stops ‘notifying’ you on everything, whether it’s a software update that’s available or an app notification. If you get annoyed by all these interruptions, there’s an easy way to turn it off.

To do this head over to Settings > System and Notifications and actions and turn whatever notifications annoy you the most off.
