Many companies still have physical ‘on-premise’ servers and employ virtualization technology to maximize their investment in physical hardware!
We sell, install and maintain physical servers and manage virtualization technology for our customers. The term VM stands for Virtual Machine. Many VM’s can be installed on one physical server to take advantage of the huge processing power of the hardware these days. We work frequently with Hyper-V and VMWare ESXi software to accomplish this. There are strengths and weaknesses to each and different purposes for each as well! We’ll deploy the one that makes the most sense for your environment. We know you’ll say, “What the heck are they talking about?” but that’s ok. We’ve been working with physical servers and VM’s for many years so we’ll be able to explain it all to you and guide you towards the right technology to meet your needs, don’t worry!
